Fall 2011 will be filled with exciting concerts and events!

The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey season opens October 16 at 3:00 PM at The College of Saint Elizabeth with a spectacular amount of sparkle and dazzle! In a tribute to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Franz Liszt, Jarred Tafaro returns to the keyboard to play the composer's avant-garde (for its time) Piano Concerto #1. Providing even more sparkle will be the youthful Symphony in C by Georges Bizet! The concert will open with the dynamic bel canto masterpiece, Vincenzo Bellini's Overture to Norma! The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey's exploration of Romantic Repertoire continues on November 13 at 3:00 PM at The College of Saint Elizabeth. In addition to works by Mozart (Overture to Cosi fan tutte) and Mahler (Songs of the Wayfarer), the orchestar and I will interpret the powerful Symphony #5 of Petr Tchaikovsky!
On December 4 at 3:00 PM I and the orchestra will return to Franklin Lakes for the annual Christmas Concert, a fundraising event for St Joseph's Medical Foundation. Already scheduled to appear as guests are pianist Paul Zeigler and bariton Don Sheasley.
The performance in New York of Mozart's Cosi fan tutte has been rescheduled for Sunday afternoon November 20 at Inwood House at 3:00 PM with the Opera Touring Company of New York. This intimate presentation with piano should be fun.
