Maestro Robert W. Butts had three works premiered this spring/summer: Five Course Dinner for Three, Two Movements for Piano, Ripples and Reflections.
On June 25, 2016 - flutists Jessica Valiente and Laura Ferraro and bassoonist Andrew Pecota premiered Five Course Dinner for Three. The work is comprised of 5 movements inspired by various courses - French Onion Soup, Tossed Salad, Rice and Beans, Matsutaki dobin, and Strawberry Shortcake. The performance was In The Barn at Ramsaysburg Homestead on the Delaware River in Knowlton New Jersey.
Pianist Lynn Czae premiered Summer (2nd of Two Movements for Piano) in three concerts. On June 23, she performed at Schott Music Hall in London, England. On June 27/28 she performed at St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, Scotland. On July 3, she performed at The American Church in Paris, France. Lynn Czae is President of The New York Classical Music Society.
